Everything is going a little bit crazy with me at the moment. It's 3 weeks until I get married and I have a mountain of things left to do - not a good time to be stressing out or for my cleaner to quit!!

Hardly any sewing has been happening and I am really missing it but I just don't have the time at the moment.
I have been virtual shopping for earrings though for my two bridesmaids. They both have short hair so I wanted something that would be elegant but still a little funky. Of course I found the perfect pair at Anthropologie.

I love this shop - seriously. I think I could actually set up home in one of the stores and stay there forever. The online store now ships to the UK but shipping is $35! It's a shame it hasn't made it over the pond like Urban Outfitters did (I think they're part of the same chain).

These are the earrings in anycase.

Although they had some other really lovely ones that I almost ordered for myself.

Sigh, I'm going to miss all this shopping :)

YAY! I am excited! Had my first wedding dress fitting today and the dress is still perfect - I was a little worried that I wouldn't feel the same way about it but I do.

DOUBLE YAY! Someone actually likes the knickers I made and contacted me about making a special pair for them! Just need to find the right sort of material now - spring green colours!

Here are a couple of little somethings I have been working on for the Etsy shop. I used fabric from some clothes I was going to give to the charity shop. These are size L (UK14) but I am hoping to have enough material left over to be able to be able to make some smaller versions also (UK10).
I am hoping to be able to take some good pictures over the Easter weekend and get them listed too!

(found here)

This fabric from Ikea is fabulous! I could see a tote bag in this or accents on cushion covers for a plain sofa or plain bed linen. Reasonably priced too.
I am probably new to the party but I found this site today and nearly spat my morning hot choc all over my desk. Priceless!!

This blog is the start of something new from me and for me. I've had ideas flying round my head for sometime about where I want to go with my knitting and sewing and I guess, creating.

I've never really thought of myself as a creative individual; traditional art isn't really my forte and I've only recently come back to knitting and discovered a love of sewing that I suppose must have been there all along.

This site is going to be part of that journey to discover my inner creativeness.
